ASCAP EXPERIENCE RETURNS WITH TIMBALAND, SARAH HUDSON, & MORE
ASCAP Experience 2023 was a smashing, sold-out success thanks to the hundreds of attendees and panelists who came to learn, network and get inspired to make new music. It made headlines from Variety to Billboard.
The ASCAP Experience returned to Los Angeles for its first in-person iteration since 2019 to celebrate, educate and connect aspiring songwriters and composers. This music creator summit hosted a lineup of chart-topping creators such as Timbaland (Missy Elliott, Jay-Z), Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello) and Leon Thomas III (Ariana Grande, Rick Ross), rapper and producer Hitmaka (Big Sean, Nicki Minaj), singer-songwriter and producer Steph Jones (Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter), songwriter and producer Darrell Brown (Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes), producer Neff-U (Justin Bieber, Sia) and more.
BRAND CHALLENGE
ASCAP Experience had the ambitious goal of achieving a sold-out in-person conference after 3 years of only being able to convene with their members virtually due to the pandemic. They wanted to reintroduce the ASCAP Experience brand, create enthusiasm among their members, and reconnect with their ASCAP family.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
In order to achieve our goals, I collaborated with our graphic designers to create a new and exciting look for the ASCAP Experience brand. We also produced graphics that were easily shareable on social media, provided valuable information to our members and potential attendees.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of promoting the ASCAP Experience was designing the songwriter highlight sheets. These sheets contained event details as well as information about the participating songwriters such as their names, career titles, top collaborators, and popular hits. This helped our members to get to know the ASCAP members behind their favorite songs who would be speaking on a panel.
